RoOTS MUSIC lives!
Justin Jagler’s soulful songwriting builds on a rich American tradition, and his energetic live performances jangle with an eclectic mix of pop song covers. Driven by rhythmic guitars and gritty Midwestern storytelling, Jagler’s party songs and sing-alongs call for peace.
A 200-year-old folk tune followed by a Kendrick Lamar-inspired blues jam? Yes! The Milwaukee-based musician draws from a deep well of influences, including Johnny Cash, Bob Marley, CCR, Bruce Springsteen, the White Stripes, Father John Misty and many more.
For more than seven years, Jagler has played all over southeast Wisconsin and parts of Iowa, including Shank Hall, Up and Under Pub, Best Place at the Historic Pabst Brewery, Linneman’s Riverwest Inn, Newton Fest, and Outpost Bar and Grill. Private parties, weddings, basements, garages and campfires – all the world’s a stage.
Jagler has been featured in Rock On Milwaukee and OnMilwaukee.com. He also played live on Riverwest Radio’s Sessions with Sandy. Always working on new music, the singer-songwriter independently released “Got Your Back” in May 2018.
